To Whom It May Concern:

My name is Christianna Ward, an undergraduate at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. My research paper is, “sibling relationships, how criminal behaviors affect relationships”. In this paper I talk about a hole that I’ve found in earlier research on this particular topic which was, only short-term research that has been done, which does not provide further information after childhood. This paper includes my auto-ethnography along with certain text from other research journals that back up my own experience.  In my conclusion I have realized that sibling relationships are like any other relationship for example, best friends, associates, groups. The only difference is that they do not change some may fall apart over time, but in that time of need they are always there to stay. For some sibling relationships even though they do have an influence over your life, they do not always over influence you to make the same choices as they have. They leave you room along with examples to make your own decisions.

I believe that my research paper fills in those particular voids because I have an very strong sibling relationships with my second oldest brother, Bryant Grayson Ward. For a very long time he had a very strong influence over my life and what I have learned throughout this particular study was that when you have a shared environment there is a chance that their behavior may rub off on you. But from experience that was not the case, and my brother actually allowed himself to be the example instead of the influence even though he was the one making bad choices, which is explained throughout my research paper.

This is a particular text for my research that I would like to provide:

The reason for my research on sibling relationships between my brother and me was because it hits close to home. My brother and I have been very close for many years, and like any researcher, they would think that I would follow in his footsteps. My parents, Randy and Cris Ward use to believe so as well. When these incidents begun I use to think, “Why am I the only person being affected by his decisions”, “Why am I not making the same choices as him?” But, now I have realized that I am supposed to be the example for him, what he could be, and what he can look forward to if he decides to do the right thing. This is my chance for him to look up to me, and allow me to be the influence in his life the best way I can, just like he was for me growing up.

In this particular paragraph is shows my reason for not following in his footsteps like research stated I would, but explains why I did not.

I believe that my research is the perfect fit for your journal because it talks about deviance, bonds, and social between to individuals. It also explains the how I got to where I am now while going through a bond that was filled with hidden secrets that I was once unable to share with anyone.

Thank you,
